Aromatherapy massage is an intense relaxation massage that is most similar to Swedish massage. It uses specially formulated essential oils to suit each individual request. Your tensions and stress will disappear and leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed.
Deep tissue massage focuses on different layers of tissue (muscle, tendons and fascia). It works to relax and lengthen muscles and release repetitive strain patterns. By applying deep massage techniques to the specific muscle groups the treatment will help ease intense pain, will strengthen and tone, and result in you feeling supple and rejuvenated.
Along with the general effects of Swedish massage and sports massage, deep tissue massage also has the following added benefits:
- Helps to heal and strengthen deeper muscle fibres and connective tissue, such as ligaments and tendons
- Helps to alleviate chronic muscle spasms often brought on by lifestyle influences such as working at a desk, driving or performing manual work
- Can help with repetitive strain injuries brought on by work or sport
- Improves posture and well-being
Lymphatic drainage massage is a wonderful treatment to have if you feel that you are holding fluid in your body, in any place. The massage will encourage your lymph nodes to filter the excess fluid, leaving you feeling lighter, leaner and more positive.
It is also very powerful if you are in recovery from an operation and havent been able to move about much, it will boost your lymphatic system greatly and will also help filtrate all the drugs from the operation.
Post pregnancy and labour it will also help bring the body back to shape and filter any intervention that you may have had during your labour.

- Helps to reduce fluid retention, which can often occur in the legs
- Helps to maintain suppleness in joints, ligaments and muscles supple throughout the pregnancy

It uses specific techniques to improve muscle tone and flexibility, ease muscular pain and prepare the body for your specific sport. It is also effective in targeting specific sports injuries whether muscular or joint related. (Please refer to deep tissue massage, for a more general deep treatment)

Thai yoga massage is based from the philosophy and practise of yoga, it is effective as prevention as well as treatment of many common ailments helping loosen tight muscles, promote circulation and flexibility and boost your energy levels.
The therapist uses hands, feet and elbows to apply pressure to the important points along the energy line of the body, combining it with gentle hatha yoga. Loose clothing must be worn for this massage and it is performed on the floor on a yoga mat with pillows and blankets.

Gemma is the real thing the best of the best!
@BodyflowLimited thank you for such an amazing reflexology treatment I feel relaxed and balanced X
I am so grateful I stumbled across this post and Gemma's work. I started seeing Gemma in December with mild PCOS and nearly 3 years of trying for a baby with a history of ectopic pregnancy. I was always a bit skeptical about reflexology having tried it with a non-fertility expert practitioner a few years ago. However, I am nervously excited to say I am sitting here 7 weeks pregnant and a scan showing the baby in my womb with a heartbeat. I never thought I would ever make it this far and I know it is super early days still and anything can happen but I am feeling so much more positive about the future. I will continue to see Gemma and would recommend anyone who is in my position to look at the benefits of reflexology when you're told your only option is IVF.

Gemma saw me throughout my whole pregnancy and post my birth, helping me with nausea, stress aches and pains whilst pregnant and getting the drugs out of my system and adjusting me after the birth. She is heaven and worked wonders rebalancing me. Her treatments always left me feeling so happy and zen. She's a reason to get pregnant again!
Alex Eagle, Designer, 29th Sept 2016
"I heard about Gemma through Madeleine Shaw's blogpost about PCOS and infertility. My own struggles to get pregnant started nearly three years earlier with an ectopic pregnancy, early miscarriage and my periods stopping. I started seeing Gemma for regular reflexology sessions in early December 2015 and altered my nutrition and lifestyle from her advice. In January 2016 I found out I was expecting. I couldn't believe it; I was scared and excited all at the same time. The Early Pregnancy Unit confirmed I had a baby with a gorgeous heartbeat in my uterus and that I had even ovulated from the ovary that didn’t have a fallopian tube! Now that little heartbeat is a 10 week old baby! I am truly grateful to Gemma for her restorative, balancing reflexology, compassionate attitude and positivity. I do not believe I would be in this position without her."
